Fiat Yamaha Team riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, plus Tech 3 Yamaha team-mates Colin Edwards and James Toseland were surprise guests at the unveiling of 2009 Yamaha YZF-R1.

Will the 2009 R1 be launched in INDIA? If so When? I am a prospective R1 buyer.
Most likely, though it might take sometime to arrive. Best people to comment on this will be the Yamaha people, will try and get info regarding this.

It will be a fantastic experience to have Yamaha YZF R1 on Indian road’s it is mind blowing to have this bikes in India, but still i believe the R1 is very expensive compare to the global market.
Yamaha needs to work out on the prices in india
