  5. Very few people will buy if its priced over 2Lakh. Best price would be between 1.3 to 1.75 lakh, Not more than that. I was about to buy it once launched but price is pushing me back.

  6. I AGREE TO U PAUL..AND I RESENTLY VISITED THE PROBIKE SHOWROOM OF NOIDA AND I HAVE COME TO KNOW FROM THE MANAGER OF THE DISTRIBUTING AND CONTROLLING UNIT OF U.P. AND DELHI(MRS. SHILPA MEHTA),DAT DA BIKE WOULD COST AROUND 1.80 LAKHS.THE TOP SPEED WOULD OF 17O-177 KM/HR…WAT SAY?? IS IT GOOD OR NOT??????

  7. Awesome if its priced nearly 1.7 – 1.8 i am on it.

  8. NAJAF ALI MIRZA says:

I agree 100% with Paul’s comment that it should be priced in the range of 1.3 to 1.75 Lakhs, it should be remembered that this is a twin cylinder engine (parallel twin) and not a four-cylinder bike and more over most of the parts of the little baby will be manufactured in Thailand and will be sold as an assembled unit over in India. For a little over 2 lakhs, one can source for a healthy engined CBR 600F around years 1996 to 1998 which will be a great value for money, performance and speeds of 250 kmph plus.

  9. i heard the launch has been delayd so pleez let ven will it b launchin n wat would it b costin?????
    thanx a lot

  10. I was in the US and have seen and ridden this bike. It cost roughly $3300 (1.65lac) there. The on-road price here is going to be 2.35lac. Bajaj alredy has about 200 units imported and are assembling them here.
Its not very quick considering I used to ride a SV650S but with adequate tuning (modification) it hits a top speed of 100mph (160 kmph) on the GPS. Average is about 70mpg (30kmpl)

  11. cuuuuuuul the price is increasin day by day n if itz goin to b 2.35 lakhs den dey r goin 2 b in loss……as many of dem includin me wont buy it

  12. I doubt it. Its a pretty advanced 250cc and a hot looking one too. The extra 50,000/- that we Indians unfortunately have to pay as compared to say the US, is for the import duties and registration n stuff. When compared with the R15 which is selling like hot cakes at 1.10lac the 250 ninja has nearly twice its Bhp.
But at the end of the day I would say that the price is pretty high and (although am not an expert at it) probably could have been at around 1.3lac – 1.5lac had they manufactured the whole bike in India.
As for now all we can do is wait for its release.

cool toy for a humble price d best as compared 2 many other bikes in its own segment i would like 2 hop on onto one as soon as it releases

  14. let me noe ven it is released..

  16. Mahesh… Gas means Petrol (in the US) and not LPG or CNG

  17. Well finally launched for 2.69lac Ex-Showroom (Close to the 2.34lac that i had stated earlier)
So we Indians pay a premium of 1.15lac to get this bike.
    IS it worth it????????
Hyosung launched the Comet (GT250) in India a few years ago in association with Kinetic for 1.75lac. The Comet is nearly the same price as the Ninja 250 abroad. Also the latest Comet comes with fuel injection (Compared to the 2 carbs on the Ninja) for no extra price.
HYOSUNG we want more of your biles here.. Are you’ll listening?
