Hero launches Optima Plus for physically challenged
Hero Electric has launched a special scooter for physically challenged individuals, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2010.
Optima Plus is a unique scooter, which comes with side wheels with shock absorbers with independent suspension system to provide a comfortable and stable ride for the physically challenged individuals. Side wheels also have side wheel light and reflector for safety.
Hero Optima Plus also offers easy conversion from special ability vehicle to a normal scooter and hence can be used by the entire family.
Hero Optima Plus is powered by a 250W BLDC motor and can run at 25kmph for 70kms, before needing to recharge its battery. It also features storage capacity of 25 liters and is priced at Rs. 24,960 Ex-Showroom Delhi.
Hero Optima Plus is available in two colors, Classic Black and Burgundy Red.
