Honda CBF Stunner Launched

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India today unveiled the Honda CBF Stunner in New Delhi.

Loaded with goodies like front and rear tubeless tyres, alloys, half fairing and stepped up seat, the CBF Stunner is the most beautiful and loaded 125cc motorcycle in India.

honda cbf stunner is not of 51655 . its about 62000 on road, and the problem is that it have not the digital speedometer and led tail lamp. when we will invest the amount then why should not we take the bajaj pulsar 150 or bajaj discover 135. these both bikes have a healthy resale value and digital speedometer also.

  9. Tapash Kumar Palit says:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that I have purchased a Honda Stunner Motorcycle on the month of August, 2009 from a sub dealer of your Honda Motorcycle.

Attachment is the bill of purchase.

First two month the performance of the bike is smooth and always I am maintaining the servicing of the motorcycle as per your recommendation.

But from last month the performance of the bike is not normal as it was in previous two month.

    The followings are the problems:

    1. The gearing function is entirely changed and time to time when I am riding the motorcycle I can not even shift the gear from top to bottom level or bottom to top level. The mileage is also gone down (@20 to 25 per Lts.).

    2. All indicator is not working from the first day and on the time of purchased I was also pointed out this problem to the sub dealer. He told that on the time of servicing the service centre will solve the entire problem.

    3. The battery of the motorcycle is not performing properly also. The Horn is not working.

    4. On the time of continuous riding any time the bike is automatically stop for no reason.

    5. Till date I havn’t understand whether the bike has reserve tank or not (for petrol) though you have mentioned in the service manual that 10 lts.normal and 2 lts for reserve. Always the entire petrol finishes without switching from normal to reserve.

Till date I have received two free services from your servicing department and every time I have pointed out those problems but they were silent. Attachment is the last free service details for your information.

Please note on the time of last free service your service department told that their blowing machine (air/water) is out of order and they have changed only the engine oil and not even touched the other parts of the bike.

In this situation request you to replace my bike with a new one or other high end model (Unicorn 150 C.C.) and I am ready to pay you the difference amount.

I am awaiting for your response please.

  22. Hello,

Sir, I’m Gobinda Das Form Jaugram Dist of Burdwan. Fith month ago i’have purchase Honda Sturner CBF with disc brake from my nearest dealer “SMS AUTO KODALIYA,HOOGHLY”. i like this model of sturner cbf. Now i getting, when i entered extra premium petrol then my sturner cbf give 65-68 k.m per littre. when i purchased this byke that time of cbf sturner model is not avalible in my nearest show room. i have no problem sir, this byke is very faster than faster. this byke have extra power, when i drive the byke that time i have understand. it’s also have Racing power in a few seconds speed 40 to 80. Few days ago i drive this byke last pickup speed 110-115. Now i wants to drive this byke more speed.

  23. Not a good bike, has cheap parts on it

  24. Ashok Bhardwaj says:

i want to apurchase my first bike in 125cc like stunnet, flame, discover. pl advice me who’s value for money bike.

  25. ashutosh says:

    @avesh:

dude, when u think about honda, plz understand one thing…

    QUALITY.
it is NOT cheap, bot metaphorically as well as in reality.

    consider this:
    bajaj pulser
    features:

    135 cc ( honda only 125)
    digital display (analog only)

    now think about this:
    price
    55k only (honda 63.5k self/disc/alloy without fi)

so where is the question of being cheap????

and now movin on to d next logical question…

y is bajaj offerin me so much features for such cheap price???

well u should answer it urself, o better still get a neutral expert opinion…
but if u ask me, i can just point out facts- out there for any one to verify…. if not just google search it man…. u shold get it…

bajaj bikes try not to bother u with much maintenance only for 2yrs, after which it becomes a pain…. d amount of maintenance it demands after 2yrs is significantly larger when compared to dat of honda’s.

    so conclusion:
if u want a lot of features, for a very small sum of money – and u r lookin really short term, bajaj could be d ans.

but if u want high quality, u would have to cough up some dough mate…. nothin worth-wile ever is cheap !! ;-) but as a stunner user, i can say one thing… d cost is justified….nay it is more than justified… experience owning a stunner, and d benefits of it both- when u r on d bike, and when u r off it, and u would relate to “power of dreams”…… i love u my honda stunner cbf !!!

  33. Dishant Kapoor says:

I am Engine Modifier @ Delhi. Stunner is the fastest Bike in 125 CC segment. In my site that I saw, some stunner user says that at 70 km/h it is vibrating. They are not a good driver at all. It is vibrating at 90 km/h because of its weight(128 KGs). It is vibrating at 75 km/h when the roadside is to clear becuse of its head visor. I tested with New Pulsar 135LS and Unicorn 150. Its Initial Pickup is greater than Pulsar 135 and Unicorn. I drive this bike at 117 km/hr for 15 minutes. If any one wana buy this bike, don’t heisted go and buy. don’t think about its millage. After 6000 KM it gives you 55 KM yet you will drive 100 – 110 KM/h or averagely 60 KM/h. Its engine is already tweaked. But It has a little problem with its gear. When You stop the bike at 4th or 5th gear then it will hard to down your gear. It is all about for gear arrangements. Handling is Awesome. You can drive regularly in low matainance. The Chain sounds bad but don’t scare about it. Its natural for Half chain cover. goog ogogogogoggo and buyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

  42. Dear All,
Its a cool bike .. i have purchased it last oct09′ and it gives me a milage of 50km/ltr.. on mumbai roads (with in city) .I am sure it will give me a milage of 60+ after a year or so..Being a fast rider it gives me a good control while riding in traffic conditions within mumbai city.. Only one thing negative abt it is it vibrates after crossing 70km – 90km speed.

  43. crap manh!!! m gettin an average of 33 kilometers. dan wat is d use of buyin a 125 cc bike. i sud hav opted fo r15 den. bloody hell

  44. Ritchie Fernandes says:

Stunner is a Ok Bike. Goes at speeds of 85 km/hr easily, but after tht the engine gives a sound. But after 4th servicing the bike does not give the sound, but does become unstable at speeds higher than 85 KM/HR.
But one thing to note abt the bike , if you ride this bike constantly at speeds of 40 to 50 it gives a awesome mileage of 64..
