Honda Electric has launched the cheapest electric scooter in India, called Flash.
Priced at just Rs. 19,990 (ex-showroom Delhi), Hero Flash was unveiled at the ongoing Green Mobility Expo in New Delhi.
Powered by a 250 watt electric motor, Hero Flash features a 48-volt 20Ah battery, which is enough to keep this scooter going for 65km, before running out of charge!
Hero Flash weighs just 87kgms and comes with short-circuit protection, under seat storage, magnesium alloy wheels, telescopic suspension and full-body crash guard.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Sohinder Gill, CEO Global Hero Electric said, “with Flash, we are moving further ahead with our vision of making India an electrically mobile nation. It weighs only 87 kilos, helping it score very high on maneuverability.”
Hero Flash has been launched, keeping first time e-vehicle buyers in mind, who might be a little apprehensive about spending more on an electric vehicle.
