Kawasaki Ninja 250R launched in India

Finally the long wait is over and Kawasaki Ninja 250R has arrived in India, with its launch by Bajaj Auto in India.

To meet the strict pollution norms of India, Bajaj Auto has decided to import the European model of Ninja 250R, which is the fuel injected variant, producing 29.5bhp @ 10500rpm and 21nm of torque @ 8500rpm.

Baby Ninja has been priced at Rs. 2,69,970 (Ex. Showroom Delhi) and Rs2,69,580 (Ex. Showroom Chennai).

Initially the Ninja 250R would be available in two colors, Green and Black and Bajaj Auto is expecting to sell 1000 units of Ninja 250R in the first year, of which 50 have already been dispatched to Probiking showrooms across India.

While the Ninja 250R would be sold at the special Probiking showrooms across India and Bajaj Auto will provide after sales service and support for it, spare parts for the motorcycle would be imported directly from Japan and Thailand.

While we are sure that with the launch of Ninja 250r in India, the biking scene here would only get better and more serious; we sincerely hope, that manufacturers start manufacturing high capacity motorcycles locally, so that the price can be brought down a little and is within reach for majority of motorcycling enthusiasts in India.

  1. Pricing of Kawasaki Ninja 250R is a little heartbreaking otherwise the bike is itself a milestone from Kawasaki’s stable.

  2. too expensive… 3 lac on road

  3. Good to see the ‘real’ bikes coming to India. Thank you Bajaj.

  4. dammn its price its like an effiel tower too much high for an indian bikers should have been much more less

  5. Hi Guys ! Nothing in this world comes cheap to India. Imported stuff is always like that. Guess Fimal price of this bike would touch nearly 3Lakhs plus. That 2 for a 30bhp bike. Is it worth it? Guess not and oh yes it doesnot have a 4 inline cylinder so you just cant compare it to a superbike which can touch speed of 250 to 300 Kms per hour in few seconds. Guess Superbikes in India will always remain expensive coz thats the way it should be…..

  6. But they have brought it in CKD(knocked down units) then too…

  7. Bike is good but the price is too heigh for 250 cc segment bike its
