Almost a year after acquiring Kinetic Motors and Engines Engineering S.r.L., Mahindra and Mahindra is finally ready with a blue print to enter 100-150cc motorcycle and scooter segment in India and drastically increase its market share in the two wheeler market.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Mr. Anand Mahindra, vice-chairman and managing director, Mahindra and Mahindra, said: “Our two-wheeler project is complete; we have already begun marketing the fleet in Bangalore and you’ll be able to see new products soon.”

Mahindra and Mahindra is also planning to leverage the R&D capabilities of Engines Engineering S.r.L to come with small yet powerful and fuel efficient engines for its new motorcycles and is also rumored to be developing a 650cc-750cc engine.
