New Honda Activa 110cc launched in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the new variant of its gearless scooter, Honda Activa.
Carrying the legacy of Activa, the new Activa now comes with new styling, better mileage and hoards of new features. Powered with an all new 110cc 4st engine, the new Honda Activa produces 8bhp at 7500rpm and 0.9Kgm of torque at 5500rpm. Honda is claiming 15% better mileage for the new Activa, compared to its 102cc predecessor.
Honda is also planning to introduce deluxe version of the new Activa with combined breaking system (CBS), Activa would be the first scooter to be launched in India with CBS, which until now was only available in the recently launched Honda CBR1000RR CBS.
The new Honda Activa would be available at Rs. 39,800 (Ex. showroom New Delhi) for the std. variant, price of yet to be launched Deluxe version with CBS, is yet to be announced.

Carrying the legacy of Activa, the new Activa now comes with refreshing new style, more mileage and hoard of New features. With this, the new Activa shall also be the most preferred family scooter in the Indian market.
Powered with an 110cc Honda engine, the New Activa comes with a 15% increased mileage which has been enabled through various cutting edge technologies. The Combi-brake in the Deluxe variant is an important highlight as New Activa will be the first scooter in the Indian market to have this feature. This technology enables shorter braking distance and stable braking for a normal rider.
The New Activa has timeless looks and style because of its new design, charming headlights with Halogen lamp, clear winkers and elegant aluminium grabrail. Its metal body ensures more durability while the Tuff-up tube in rear tyre makes it more reliable. Among other attractive features of the New Activa include: Increased underseat storage capacity and Key Shutter .
A leader in the scooter market, Activa has redefined the definition of Scooter in India. With a unisex appeal and providing true value for money, Honda Activa has been popular vehicle for everyone and has been co-used amongst all family members. The New Activa aims to further expand the market and also attract the existing customers. While introducing many new changes, it has been ensured that the New Activa retains the comfort and riding pleasure of original Activa.
Being promoted with the punchline ‘Joy ON & ON’, the New Honda Activa will be available in six colours: Candy Lucid Red, Pearl Sunbeam White, Wild Purple Metallic, Space Silver Metallic, Geny Grey Metallic and Black.
The New Honda Activa would be available at the lucrative price of Rs 39,800 (New Delhi), Rs 41,300 (Pune), Rs 41,340 (Bengaluru) and Rs 41,320 (Kolkata). The prices mentioned are ex-showroom and of the Std Variant. The Deluxe variant will be launched soon.
HMSI aims to continue being the leader in the market and looks forward to continue meeting the customers’ requirement with the changing times. The company will achieve 10.6 lac sales mark in this financial year 2008-09 with growth of 17% over last year and has set a target to produce 12.5 lakh two-wheeler units in the next financial year.

i have book a honda activa deluxe in the month of nov 09 at kothari wheel shukrwar peth swargate pune 411002,total vechile cost is paid to delar by cash ,vechile is not deliver to us as on date they are asking for wait till month end this is not good bussiness now i am going to cancile the booking of honda activa.

Yes..its really a very good vechile..But waiting period is about 3 to 4 months…But you can try Mahindra rodeo or Dura..Which has got better features than honda activa…

I congratulate you on your success by launching new activa as per the test of the Indian public.I am very sorry to inform you that i booked a vehicle at DADI HONDA on 18/10/2009,in Vizianagaram with booking form number 909 and with receipt number 512.They given maximum time three months to get the booked vehicle but not yet i got a call from the show room.Can you take necessary action on this issue so that i can also enjoy the ride of NEW HONDA ACTIVA.

thanks for giving all womens a wonderful ride.activa is a dimond crown for all ladies,all womens are having their ride on the road, but still i want more from honda activa & i.e why cant you give more sporty look like boys are having to thair bikes so that we can also enjoy more of riding our activa & its and request that please produse more supply of honda activa so that we should not have to wate for our activa.i am hooping a lots from THE NEW HONDA ACTIVA.

I am a defence employee. I have booked Honda Activa Purple colour through CSD, Chennai and handed over the supply order to Ooty Honda Office 0N 24.03.2010 AND have booked the vehicle paying in advance on 09.03.2010. They assured to deliver the vehicle within 20 days. But even after a lapse of 1.5 months there is no response from the sales rep of Ooty.
Kindly look into the matter for early settlement please.

This is Kavitha H,Asst. Prof,SIT, Tumkur. I have purchased new Honda activa,for Bangalore. Century Honda is the only authorized service station in Tumkur. They call us for free service, its a appreciable think about them. But the service is of very poor quality. For water wash they just water with a pipe & leave it, they don’t bother to clean the vehicle with some cloth, if we complain also they take the vehicle again do the same thing & give us back. The don’t provide proper change for the amount we pay. For my second free service the cost was 21/-rs, i gave 100/-rs they paid me back 75/-rs. This is not a good thing. This has not happened to me alone, when every i go for service all most people have faced the above mentioned two problem. Do take some measures to solve this problem as soon as possible.

What you said is absolutely right ..Its not only Honda you can check with all the other company showroom. Servicing they will not do proper but the billing will be done proper and they will check twice the bill but not the vechile..:).Thats how life goes..Prof Mam you are lucky they gave at least 25 but didnt keep compelte 100.Prof mam this website is not company website.its just like an information on bike’s .Better you should go to honda company website and inform your problems.They may take some actions and give your 4 rs Back..:)Just kidding

Im using honda activa since it launched. This is my 3 rd scooter of honda activa. Formerly I used kinetic honda. Now I wish to change my present honda activa. And visited calicut show room (ktc honda). They were creating very demand. I want black colour. The show room officials said me it will take 5 months. If you want it today itself you may bring additional 5000/- rupees to us. I stunned on hearing this. This is pick pocketing. Is this the knowledge of Honda company? Iam desperated. Then I told them sorry, I may purchase tvs suzuki or mahindra. What will I do to get a new model Honda Activa immediately?

I approached to get a new honda scooter. but I could not book for the scooter because they told me 5 to 6 months will take to get you the scooter. What is the problem to calicut dealers. I dont understand. Some one told me if you pay extra paise to them they will allot the vehicle. Please stop this cruelty to customers.

honda activa is good but ur not providing the vehicles it takes nearly 4 months its very bad.
Why don’t you people try for other vehicles like Mahindra Rodeo and Duro Or Suzuki access. As per my knowledge Mahindra rodeo is having far better features compare Honda activa…And it has got brand name. and the mileage is 1 or 2 km may varies.Support indian companies when everything is same

Its the same in all over india we have to weight for at least 3 months to get the vechile one way of geting the vechile is if you pay more they will deliver the vechile early else go for suzuki access or Mahindra rodeo or Mahindra Duro.
If you compare the features between mahindra rodeo and Honda Activa.Mahindra rodeo may be far better than Honda activa.Mileage may be differ from 1 or 2 KM.
Even Mahindra has brand name..Even i am from mandya.

I purchased ‘Honda activa’ 3-years back,Till to day speedo meter readind is 42000 k.m.One week back i given my vehicle in show room for servecing pupose,That time my complient is “Noise coming in engine”.For that purpose Show room technisian saying that ‘You have to service your engine it;s cost around 8000/-.may question is after 40,000 k.m Honada engine will damage.Is it true. Or show room technisian telling wrong you please clarify which is correct and what i has to do.I go for engine servicing or as per technisians sujjestion.ok if tou reuire i will provide total detailes of my vehicle .Iam from ‘hyderabad’.I purchased vehicle from “Pratul honda show room,Rajbhavan road,HYD.I given service at “JSP Honda,Kukatpally”.Ok Please clarify as early as possible.
Finally i will tell you one thing clear ‘You have to moniter your customers problems in work shops’.

I stay in Aurangabad(Maharashtra). I wanted to purchase a black activa from
RatnaPrabha Motors Aurangabad. There was one salesperson named Manoj. He said if you want black color activa then you have to wait for 6 months, but he can give me others colors as thay are avialable. When i went to their godown to see others color there were 20 black colored activas in that godown. When i asked Manoj(the salesperson) whh he can’t give me one black colored Activa then he demanded 5 thousands more than the on road price Activa just b’coz its color is Black. This is really rediculous, that guy Manoj is doing BLACK MAKETING of HONDA ACTIVA. When i told that i want to meet Branch Manager then that guy Manoj called himself as a Branch Manager but actually he is bloody cheap downmarket motherf******* salesperson.
In which month you will be launching New Activa-Deluxe Variant Model.
As im planning to purchase the same for my wife & my sister.
