New Honda Activa 110cc launched in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the new variant of its gearless scooter, Honda Activa.
Carrying the legacy of Activa, the new Activa now comes with new styling, better mileage and hoards of new features. Powered with an all new 110cc 4st engine, the new Honda Activa produces 8bhp at 7500rpm and 0.9Kgm of torque at 5500rpm. Honda is claiming 15% better mileage for the new Activa, compared to its 102cc predecessor.
Honda is also planning to introduce deluxe version of the new Activa with combined breaking system (CBS), Activa would be the first scooter to be launched in India with CBS, which until now was only available in the recently launched Honda CBR1000RR CBS.
The new Honda Activa would be available at Rs. 39,800 (Ex. showroom New Delhi) for the std. variant, price of yet to be launched Deluxe version with CBS, is yet to be announced.

Carrying the legacy of Activa, the new Activa now comes with refreshing new style, more mileage and hoard of New features. With this, the new Activa shall also be the most preferred family scooter in the Indian market.
Powered with an 110cc Honda engine, the New Activa comes with a 15% increased mileage which has been enabled through various cutting edge technologies. The Combi-brake in the Deluxe variant is an important highlight as New Activa will be the first scooter in the Indian market to have this feature. This technology enables shorter braking distance and stable braking for a normal rider.
The New Activa has timeless looks and style because of its new design, charming headlights with Halogen lamp, clear winkers and elegant aluminium grabrail. Its metal body ensures more durability while the Tuff-up tube in rear tyre makes it more reliable. Among other attractive features of the New Activa include: Increased underseat storage capacity and Key Shutter .
A leader in the scooter market, Activa has redefined the definition of Scooter in India. With a unisex appeal and providing true value for money, Honda Activa has been popular vehicle for everyone and has been co-used amongst all family members. The New Activa aims to further expand the market and also attract the existing customers. While introducing many new changes, it has been ensured that the New Activa retains the comfort and riding pleasure of original Activa.
Being promoted with the punchline ‘Joy ON & ON’, the New Honda Activa will be available in six colours: Candy Lucid Red, Pearl Sunbeam White, Wild Purple Metallic, Space Silver Metallic, Geny Grey Metallic and Black.
The New Honda Activa would be available at the lucrative price of Rs 39,800 (New Delhi), Rs 41,300 (Pune), Rs 41,340 (Bengaluru) and Rs 41,320 (Kolkata). The prices mentioned are ex-showroom and of the Std Variant. The Deluxe variant will be launched soon.
HMSI aims to continue being the leader in the market and looks forward to continue meeting the customers’ requirement with the changing times. The company will achieve 10.6 lac sales mark in this financial year 2008-09 with growth of 17% over last year and has set a target to produce 12.5 lakh two-wheeler units in the next financial year.

i am ram from tamilnadu, nice to present to this , my lovely vehicle is honda aciva , my age is 30 i am business man , this is my 10 th bike . my dream is 10 bike is honda activa but loose this bike . becouse of distributor ,resoan , i went to vellore to see bike , show room or closed so i went to near show room kanchipurm , i set in show room no one come and meet me , after one sales man came i told i want to see the bike he told i want permission with sm i told ok . he got permission he show the vehicle , no test drive given. after i told to book he said for 1- month for dellivery i told ok, and accessories . i am not interesst so dropped accessories sales man told i will get permission .salesman tolod accessories is important . i also told ok , after i went to meet sm he meet he is a poor character really i distrub and come to home . same day i bookd suzuki access and i taken the vehicle delivery . so many people are asking how is bike i giving a to take the idea to buy honda activa because of loveable vehicle . dont spoil good customers my reference always with honda activa, keep good distributor get affection .

I have booked Honda Activa Deluxe 3 months back through a Authorised Dealer of Mumbai and still I got answer on asking about about deilivery period of the vehicle .
I was told as we donot get vehicles in time from the factory and there are some production
problem in factory so we would notbeable to give you time of delivery.
Sir can you give the actual position of my vehicle ,factory production position ,or delay by the dealer.

We booked a honda activa delux 2 months back from a showroom in Ooty. They said we will get the scooter in 20 days. We made the full payment also. But still now we didn’t get the scooter. Every day they are saying one or other excuse.In fact the vehicle for us came in the showroom, but they gave it to someone else.This is disappointing. The customer service is very poor. Now we won’t allow any of our friends to take a vehicle from that showroom. Pls tell your dealers to improve their behaviour towards the customers.

can buy Honda activa Dlx model on May 2010 @ Madurai, Tamilnadu Spec of Scooter is Very Nice but Body Weight it’s ? so heavy ,mileage ok getting around 50KM/L.
But National wide all of dealer habit its same no more response gave to customers compare to other product dealers.

Here in Hyderabad dealers are not taking the orders for New Honda Activa 110 cc. They are saying that the bookings will be open from next month onwards and the delivery would be after on year. Is that so? If delivery takes that much time, who will be interested to prefer Activa? After one year Activa may become old (If a new model arrives in market).
Please provide the time of delivery if I book it next month.

I am planning to buy Honda Activa or Aviator…but confused. I don’t see any Aviator on road; only Activa is there. But I like Aviator primarily for its new tech shockers. But just hesitating to go for Aviator. The two wheels of Aviator are differently sized…front wheel bigger.
Please help me buy the right product.
Dealers here in Delhi are not very good. I went to Swarup Honda and they seem little interested in dealing with customers.
Is it possible to get a basket (accessory) fit in Aviator. I didn’t see any in the pictures posted on net.

I booked a honda activa dlx 6 months back on Dated 10-02-2010 from a showroom (Om Sai Autoworld) in Mahim Mumbai-16.My Booking No. M-13060 & Reciept No M-4645. They said I will get the scooter within 5-6 Months. I made the DP payment Rs. 14,753 also and monthly EMI is going on continuosly. But still now I didn’t get the scooter.
