New Honda Unicorn R
Honda Motor Scooter India has launched an upgraded version of Honda Unicorn. The New Honda Unicorn has the following new features:
- Engine tweaks to make the engine smoother and increase pickup.
- Exhaust Heat shield has been given the same black treatment as the rest of the exhaust, making it some what more attractive.
- Honda has also decided to paint the sari guard in black paint to make the bike look sleeker.
- Honda Unicorn’s instrumentation panel has been changed to incorporate larger dials with brighter colors to improve readability.
- The new gear paddle is toe actuated, as oppose to the conventional heel-toe shifter in the older Unicorn.
- Honda has also added bar end weights to reduce vibrations.
- Unicorn also gets a Chrome plated 3D logo to enhance its looks.
Overall the cosmetic upgrades have managed to make the New Unicorn look more appealing than its predecessor which was never a bad package to begin with.

Hi am Prakash from Pune (Maharashtra) ! At present I am using Hero Honda -Passion + bike, since last three years with fully satisfaction. But now I intend to exchange & purchase Honda -Unicorn R model as improved which is looking so unik & staylish . So far I have been book same at Pune HOnda’s authorised dealer but he advise to wait for 8 weeks . Hence I want to purchase said bike with immediate effect by cash. If you can help me to deliver same …… its will be greatful to me.

sports edition will be released on AUgust 2010 on road, because of poor service people are looking at xtreme, which is a near brother to unicorn, dey share same mill with 1 bhp difference, so go for it..even if sports uni is rteleased HMSI takes 3 months to deliver it

very good bike is unicorn because it more special then all bikes it has very good speed control. it will not vibrate in speed like 100. it has smooth pleasure. it is just like mercedce

when we wiil touch in market honda unicorn r…..I’m really crazy abt dis byke,,,,ri8 now I’m using pulsar220 last 3yrs….but i used unicorn last year….
I’ve been using unicorn for 6 years now, before this i had a 1999 model HH Splendor which was good but lost life after 5 years. But this one is still as good as new when it comes to driving in city or ranges. I have replaced the chain sprocket set only once and battery has died just a month back. Still by far the best i’ve seen on Indian roads. A true honda performer. No loss for the investment.
I am interested and bought the Hero Honda Splendor plus but MSK Motors company poor service, Sold duplicate products, Hero Honda show room Owner(Msk Motors, Erode,TamilNadu,INDIA) rash speech, then I moved to Honda product.
After Onwards I enjoy the Every Quality of HONDA Unicorn.

I have booked CB Unicorn on 1st week of June at JSP Honda, Ambattur, Chennai, the seller informed me to wait for 90 days, today is the 85th day of my booking, wen i called the dealer today, he again asking me to wait for 20 more days, i donno after 20 days will they again ask me to wait or not……….

In Chennai getting Honda unicorn Bike is very difficult some Dealers are asking Rs.9000/- as premium for getting immediate New Honda unicorn Bike. why this kind of Cheating is happening and how come Honda is not taking any action on this???
