Bajaj Auto has started selling the 2017 model of the Pulsar 200NS in India, at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 96,453.
Earlier model of Pulsar 200NS had been discontinued, mainly due to emission norm requirements, which mandated a switch to BS IV norms.
2017 Pulsar 200NS features the now BS IV compliant 199.5cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled 4st engine, which produces the same 23bhp and 18.6Nm of torque.
Bajaj Auto has updated the styling of the 200NS in the form of new colour scheme (Red-Grey, Black-Grey and White-Grey) and addition of body coloured belly pan and auto headlamps on (AHO) function.
Unfortunately, there is no word yet on ABS being available even optionally and neither is there any word on the fuel injected variant of the 200NS, which was rumored to be coming to India this year.
Hopefully Bajaj Auto will introduce the Fi variant of the Pulsar 200NS along with ABS (at least as an option) later on.
