Royal Enfield Classic 350 launched in India
Written by: Yogesh November 4th, 2009Royal Enfield today launched the Classic 350 motorcycle in India, along with the Royal Enfield Classic 500EFI.
Powered by a 19.8bhp UCE Engine, the Classic 350 replaces the older Enfield Machismo and will be sold at a price tag of Rs. 98,800 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
Speaking at the press conference held in Delhi, Mr. Siddhartha La, MD and CEO, Eicher Motors said, “Royal Enfield has an extremely rich heritage of practical leisure motorcycling for a over a hundred years. At its core has been a harmonious integration of design and technology towards delivering excellent ride ability at all speeds and riding conditions. With the Classic 350, we have have taken this ideology and refined it further to deliver a sublime and timeless retro-chic look with a highly responsive engine and chassis. This goes on to give the rider an exhilarating ride, regardless of whether s/he is going to office in the morning or for an adventure to the Himalayas or even around the world.”

“We will use this philosophy and the UCE platform to design and introduce a wide range of motorcycles over the next 3 years to span a variety of motorcycling genres such as classic sports, touring etc. The classic 500 and 350 are the start of a new era where Royal Enfield is creating an alternative language of motorcycling globally which is unhurried yet responsive, pleasing to all senses, highly practical yet emotional and romantic. I own bullet 350, 2004 model. It is a funtastic bike. I like to change it to 500 Classic. Anybody know the approximate milage the compan offers ? Kindly mail me.
I found it very nice and wonderfull look .I found it one of the most beautifulmodels of royal enfield.I am so happy to see it.
I visited the city RE dealer yesterday. Really a very nice bike. Actually I had planned for Thunderbird Twinspark but after seeing this bike, my mind is changed. I have booked it.
Today i have booked Classic 350, but i am not sure about mileage, can anybody confirm me………..
this bike is fantastic and marvellous according to us, we have booked classic 350, but will be in hand after two months, let us see how is bike, we all are curious…………
Chinmay, mileage should be similar to what people are getting with Thunderbird Twin Spark.

The Classic 350 is a good bike, last week I visited the showroom. I am bit confused with TB and Classic 350 now, as the both comes with similar engines (Twinspark)
Also, the milage of Classic 350 seems to be same as TB may be > 5 to 10 KMPL due to the additional wait of Classic 350
A small correction, the milage of classic 350 would be less than TB (may be 5-10 KMPL less) due to the wait difference between them
