TVS Apache RTR Fi 160

The wait is almost over, TVS is all set to launch Apache RTR Fi 160 in the coming days. The Fuel Injected version of TVS Apache RTR 160 is expected to produce 15.7bhp at 8500 rpm and 13.1Nm of torque at 6500rpm.

Motorcycle enthusiasts in India have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Apache Fi ever since TVS Motors first showcased the Fi version to media in September 2007.

hi! can you plz tell the averege and cost of bike. actualy i was considering of buying the honda stunner. should i go for apache rtr fi or else the honda stunner as iam a student and looking for decient avg of the bike.

I got a RTR. Fi is better than RTR off course. but apache is for those who believe in freedom biking, pickup, speed and performance. So, if you r lookig for ‘decent average’ etc, go for 125cc bikes, looks great and does well. But if style & performace matter, go for the apache Fi.

the TVS dealer told me that you have to keep at least 5 liter of petrol for smooth running and efficient performance.we drive it below reserve sometimes till the last drop of petrol.Can someone using the bike clarify this?

hello friends i am telling u that apache fi is the best bike to buy i have buy this bike and this bike is awesome its pick up, mileage, topspeed and looks are better than old rtr so the best buy is fi model
and it is little bit costly than rtr but u are spending money so go for it i am happy with my bike

well the need for at least 3-5 liters of petrol in RTR Fi is bcse of its fuel injection feature. instead of petrol draining out from the bottom of the tank as in all other bikes (in india) it has got a pump to do so (like in cars). Adv: of this feature is there is no need for carbuerator (need to b verified), and also saves fuel from evaporation (some ~100ml fuel tube + carbeurator total) so u get that much extra milage, which would have evaporated if engine left idle after running. as told to me by TVS service engineers.
Dis Adv: cant go to the last drop, as air will be sucked in instead of petrol and then its hell……(heard abt it in some other blog).
i dont own one but plan to do so, at present i am happy with TVS Victor GL (initial launch model).

its really a beast,i was able to beat FZ16 in a drag, i reached 130kph n i am getteing a mileage 0f 51kpl. Isn’t great

hello friends, am gaurav yadav from gurgaon, am purchase the first apache 160 fi of gurgaon in september, it is the superb bike as compare to yamaha fz 16 , apache goes to 137 km/h, witout any stress, on that speed it gives 23k/l milege, on 50 to 95 it give48km/l and on 40 it gives 64km/l, good grip on roads because of rear disc, a suberb bvike in just 70000 budget………….

hello falgun, the apache need 5 liter oil in tank because of fuel injection , it just like a water motor of cooler . the apache is not used only petrol to run , but also the air , fi mix the air with petrol called air fuel mixture which provides more pick up , milege only if the oil in tank is more than 5 liters,,,, i think u will be satisfy by my ans….
