Yamaha FZ-S launched in India
After Yamaha Fz-16’s runaway success in India, Yamaha India has today launched its more stylized version, Yamaha FZ16-S.
Yamaha FZ-S takes the style quotient of Yamaha FZ-16 to another level by featuring new colors and graphics, aerodynamic chiseled windshield, stylish and sporty carbon pattern meter console and a more aggressive looking headlight.
Speaking at the launch of Yamaha FZ-S, Mr. Y. Tsuji, CEO and Managing Director, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “Yamaha has set forward on a journey where each and every product of ours will set a benchmark in the market with its technological superiority, quality and manufacturing excellence and style quotient. The arrival of this new variant FZ-S is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to FZ 16. Our strategic intent is to provide customers with stylish variant to suite his fashion statement and personality.”
Yamaha FZ-S will be available in two colors – Yellow Streak and Silver Tech. Yamaha FZ-S is priced at Rs. 67000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

What will be its mileage in city
wat????????no changes further done in this bike…….i wasexpecting there might be changes in the power n mileage of the bike par it is still the same………..this is quite dissaponting……..

Its the sexiest bike ever launched in india. I have FZ-16 and its just the best & want FZ-s for my younger brother too. Its really the ” Lord of the streets”.

FZ5 is better than FZ16
i think fz-s is a sportie version of the yamaha fz 16,its the same in terms of mileage and performance but the looks are just killing….

Yamaha FZ16 looks cool tan FZS… Its a unwanted change made in front… FZ16 is really LORD f STREETS.. I love YAMAHA
when will these Indian companies stop launching variants of existing bikes and start bringing out new bikes with new core engines. pls advice these companies. those who already bought this bikes are fools ..

Disgusting colors, they don’t have sense in color
I like Fz-16 and FZS is same as Fz-16 but its good looks.Fz-16 have low power,not much pick like R15.Hope FZS will more power than FZ-16 then it will be the bike

i would like to know why there is no kick start in fz16,fz16_s. thre may arise a serious problem of ignition due to the aging of battery.

Hey man Rs.72215/- is affordable when compared to chennai on road price Rs.75500/-.. Yamaha always fails to keep mileage in all of its models.. its highly unworthy.
you shuold given the kick start in new FZ-S model i was planning to buy this bike but as soon as o saw that there is no such thing like KICK in it…i droped my plan…………..m still waiting for your KICK SRART model of new YAMAHA FZ-S and ya please remove those YELLO STRIPES from tyres because it look’s bull sheat, and try to make the WOLF EYE’S like >>>(BAJAJ)PULSAR…..HOPE u could launch the better model till the MIDDLE OF JUNE….and ya try to INRODUCE MORE AND MORE COLOUR FULL MODELS…and ya the price should between 65 to 75 couse it’ll give huge intrest in people to buy ur bike’s…thanx
ya as few guys have said i am also saying that it should have the kick starter otherways it will damage the battery power.and the company should introduce more in colors.grey red combination is so so and the black yellow one is really a most bad one its looking like kolkata’s taxi.and talking about mileage,if Bajaj Pulsar 180 can give 45-50 why not yamaha fzs.its too hopeless its should have 45-50 mileage.its style is simply rrrroooooooooockssssss only the mileage is the big problem.

The Bike is so awesome i got it few days back FZ S … but the major draw back what i feel is the horn and self starter …..The FZ S model can be added with a kicker as in rainy seasons its will be the big trouble so i suggest it should be provided with kicker as all other competitors bikes are provided with kicker . The second thing is horn the output is very low and the sound is just like an tweeter which is more horrible honestly more worst than a gearless bikes ( scooty )
one of the factor that affects the look is the number plate in front side
that spoils the whole thing ….
But i still love FZ S ….
If these factors are looked the sales would increase rapidly…..
the second thing is we can change the model of headlight and the battery depedent ……if battery drains out………………………….

the visor looks awful,and the silver coloured one is really boring…..i love the yellow one…and im going to book it next week….im only worried about the mileage(they say about 35-40)
the bike is not very comfortable in rough roads
its a good bike , very popular in nepal , my 2 years son likes it very much, but its price in very is very high, its about 190000 nepali currancy, anyway u can see a large no of fzs on the streets of kathmandu and other mazor cities of nepal

I got interested in bikes after FZ-S got launched,so i m lookin to buy one….its got gr8 looks and it doesnt matter if ders no kick start in it,it still rocks,i expect its mileage to be above 35 and i can definitely say this bike has got my eyes……….

yahama fz bike is a gud bike taken out by yamaha . we are interested in buying this bike because of special features available in this bike but we are not able 2 choose the colour because all colours are nt shown on urs site . plz make all colours available so that i can buy the bike of my own colour . i req. u 2 plz show all the colours on urs site as early as possible. i will be thankfull 2 you………………………!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes true.. Last week my bike self starter didn’t work.. It was not battery problem.. Some connector problem..
definitely need kicker for emergencies.
