Yamaha launches FZ16 and FZ-S with new colors and graphics
India Yamaha Motor has re-launched the FZ16 and FZ-S motorcycles with new colors and graphics and also made these motorcycles BS III compliant, so that they can be sold in the 13 cities which have recently switched to BS III emission norms.
The new Yamaha FZ16 would now be available in Lava Red and Midnight Black colors and is priced at Rs. 65,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

While the new FZ-S would be available in Black Cyber Green, Silver Tech and Sport Electric Blue colors and would be priced at Rs. 67,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Speaking to the media, Mr. Koji Arai, Director & Chief Sales Officer, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “With the refreshed versions of FZ16 and FZ-S, we want to strengthen our presence in the highly competitive 150cc+ segment and increase our share from 12% to 20% by year-end. We have kept the essence of FZ series bikes intact while altering the aesthetics to exemplify the masculine feeling these tough machines are known for. The stylish graphics will take the street fighter image to its next level.”
