I have been having fun with my R15 and will continue to have it. And you will also not believe coz you dont have the brain to understand it!!! I havent seen a fake person like you.. who first was a full bajaj supporter and then later on said that he is a big fan of Yamaha!!!Well i wont be surprised if in a few days you will say that Yamaha is far better than bajaj.. hahahaha …
I have full sympathy with u!
well u r also a fake person as u said that u r a fan of tvs
it is not a rule that one person cannot like 2 things
it was just started with between p220 and r15 but u r taking it away from the topic this shows how much a big looser u r
and first u show sympathy with u becoz firstly u need the most haha….
now dnt comment further as i am finishing this for all
if u comment anything afterthat i will not do that…
hahahaha… i can see it from the comments which you have posted till now that what a copy cat you are.. you just take out points from what i say .. you dont have the ability to bring out your own points. And dude remember one more thing.. it was you who brought in R15 in the discussion, it was you who sarted talking about indian and non indian companies( I still dont understand what it has to do with the discussion )and it was you who deviated from the topic.. anyways.. and its better that you have finished it off yourself.. Good for you!! i would say this is the first time you have acted wise now lets see how much you keep your word this time as im sure you r not going to comment any further!!! I didnt expected that you will run away like this!! what a miser….
I love fazer but only problem is that its top speed is 115 and at that price there are many bikes like apache and pulshar as both companies had bring there new models which is better than fazer
Plz answer yaaron
Like many others ,i ve 2 got confused b/w fazer & p220.
For city conditions & a collg goin rider & occasional long drives, whch is goin 2 b a better bike.
Primary requirements r_
1.Style
2.Handling
3.Speed & thrust
Hi Bike Crush- Here is “my” opinion for you:
Fazer is the bike which is made for touring purpose and for long drives Fazer would be better. The seating position of this bike is such which is ideal for long drives. But with all that said it doesnt mean that this bike cannnot be used in city traffic. Whether its city ride or highways the seating postion of the bike should be comfortable and this is what this bike has.
Fazer has better styling than a P220. Better looking headlamps, muscular fuel tank, widest rear tyre and more…this bike is a head turner. It is also 9 kg lesser in weight than a P220.On the other side the new P220 doesnt have that much changes when it comes to looks.
Fazer has a 7 step adjustable Monocross suspension which aids to the stability and handling of the bike. Monocross suspension is not present in P220. Fazer has the fattest rear tyre which provides awesome gripping on any kind of track.
A P220 has an edge when it comes to Speed and Thrust, because of its more powerful engine. It has a better pickup and has a higher top end speed as compared to fazer. So if you love speed then P220 is better in that front.
You should test ride both of them and then make a decision, see which bike suits your personality and your riding capabilities.
Best of luck mate!
Hi Yogesh,
The seating postion is changed because of the fact that there is a slight change in the handlebar of Fazer 150. Fazer has a slightly raised handlebar which makes the seating position a bit more upright than before and thus adds to the comfort level.
well for ur kind information bike lover yahama r15 and fz awarded bikes of the year 2 times lolzzzzzz bajaj ko kuch mila??? nahi bas chote log use kerte hain bajaj ki gadi chori kerne ke liyeh yamaha has its own repuatation in the feild of biking and m disagree with ankur i ran fazer wid the top speed of 135km/hr
My choice would be Fazer 150 or FZ-S from Yamaha. Considering the realiability of Yamaha, the level of customer satisfaction, the performance of the bikes, thier bold new looks and style and features. Next to Yamaha would be HeroHonda extreme or hunk, then honda unicorn, bajaj would be the last and i cant say about suzuki as i dont have any experience with thier bikes till now.
I have booked the yamah fazer, but i don’t know wht is the mileage in city as well as in highway.please let me know the updates on this if nay body knows.
@ RkO
dont trust the digital speedo of any bike…the reading it gives at higher speeds is false…google it ull find out dat thers a difference between TRUE top speed and indicated top speed on the digi speedo…
@ALL
for more than 65-70grand i think a better bike
if ur intrested in performance wud be
p220
apache RTR180
karizma—(which is also a pretty good tourer+performance)
if u have more money…R15
and all of them give sumwhat the same milage&luk good
although FAZER is a gud bike i dunno what was YAMAHA thinkin coz it is not practical to spend datmuch for most ppl in india who wud get better…bottom line
well m waiting for fazer 250cc which may be launched this october then i’ll show what is bajaj and wat is yamaha, you all say that the fastest indian is pulsar 220 lolzzzzzz just wait and watch
PULSAR guys your bike is nothing but just outdated now cause it has gone one step backward in comparison of technology from f engine to carbuetur system what if this system again give trouble than again want to go for 2stroke engine baby .
Why your bajaj 220 NEVER solved previous problem of this engine and went backward . This proved bajaj is not serious about people and playing with people hearts and money . And i dont know why you people compare 220cc with 150cc use your common sense baby
We people are the customer we should always welcome the good technology thats why my hands off to yamaha . Hope yamaha will lunch more powerful bike hopefully 250cc with stylish look and more comfort give in this biking arena more contribution .
yea they all are fools who are comparing a 150cc segment bike with a 220cc segment bike dats 220 ke level ki bike aane toh do fir dekhte hain 70000 se 65000 ki ho jaege lolz ,i didn’t found anything sporty in bajaj pulsar 220 it doesn’t even have mono suspension yamaha is providing 7 time adjustable mon suspeions in fz series,,, wat bajaj invented ??? just a double spark system?? thats gone outdated, let me also tell you one thing that yamaha is a japanese company has its own reputation, bajaj is nothing after breaking the colobration with kawasaki.
Hey RKO- the gladiator 165 and fazer 250 are not going to be launched in india as far as i know. These two bikes were displayed in 2006 auto expo but then nobody knows what happened to them. The pic which you have shown is also from the 2006 auto expo only.
As far as i know there are more powerful bikes lined up from yamaha and an upgraded version of R15 as well but not in this year.
hey rko stop underestimating pulshar 220 as it is the most powerful and the fastest bike and yamaha r15 is no where to pulshar 220 … i just bought this bike and its really aussum … i had a race with my friend r15 and my bike PULSHAR 220 wins … so nows whichs better….
and stop saying that pulshar is outdated… its the technology which bajaj is providing …pulshar is in the market for last 8 years and still people are buying it… r they all foolish …please don`t say that now…
Hey Ankur- Pulsar might be having a more powerful engine than an R15 but on technology front bajaj is no where near to any bike of Yamaha specially when you compare it to R15. Be it mono-cross suspension, Liquid cooled 4 valve engine to name a few…
And yes, people used to buy pulsar when there were no other options, but these days there are far more better option in the market. And now when everyone was going away from Bajaj, they moved back in technology, removed FI from P220 reduced it cost just to lure customers and increase it sales. I would have been more than happy if they would have improved upon the technology rather than going back. This bike doesnt even have the basic thing like mono cross suspension!!!!
you say you have beated R15 in the race.. i would like to know how long that race was?can your bike ever beat R15 on a track? whats the maximum speed you have clocked on your P220? I have seen various communities of new P220 and they havent crossed 139 kmph mark whereas guys have touched more than 145 on R15. and dude your bike is new, lets see how the performance goes when your bike is a little old, the reality would come in front then.
And last but not the least start spelling your “PULSHAR” correctly!!! its not pulshar.. its called Pulsar. you seem to be influenced by that stupid bike lover( i am assuming yor not the same guy )
Undoubtely yamaha is advanced in technology and hot cake in city but hopefully near in future yamaha will notify its some bad aspect like sit comfort for rider and pillion more powerful engine more good tire with good grip engine guard
fazer 250 is a long way off bein releasd in the indian market
dont u guys know that just sumtime back there was actually a law (duno which numbskull made it)that manufacturing a 250ccbike in india is illegal!!! coz it doesnt comply with sum `indian mfg standards`
y do u think bajaj&HH have stopped at 220&223CC ??
the only bikes that have crossed or matched 250CC is the COMET and RD350 &now upcuming NINJA250 which are non indian based…
dats y we have STILL not seen a 250cc from an indian company…
and even importing a bike between 250-600cc u have to pay heavy import duties and TAX that go upto twice or thrice the actual cost of the bike!!!!!!!
y is this?? coz that will threaten the indian porformance biking market as bike enthusiast ppl will shift their interest in importing a 300cc bike rathar than buying a pulsar or a herohonda
but its not so for 1000cc&above bikes coz they are already very expensive to even come close to harming the indian biking market…
its really saddening…
now the senario is changing….
but we know how our government works so we need to wait another 5years to get the laws changed….
we may see a 250CC in the future but it will be imported….
ninja250 is on its way…manufactured by kawasaki japan and assembled by bajaj….(bajaj has nothing2do with the bike OR the technology of the bike…NINJA250 is purely a JAPANESE product by KAWASAKI)
it costs lesser2import seperate parts than to import the entire bike
so2reduce cost a local company IE bajaj is just to say putting the parts together
mind u this is a twin cylinder bike!!!
indians mite cum up with a single cylinder 250cc
but twin cylinder is where real power lies
bajaj or any indian company for that matter cant even master FUEL INJECTION
TWIN CYLINDER technology is WAAAAYY above their heads!!!!!!!!!!
Hi friends please don’t blame yamaha it has shown a speed of 180 km/hr in india in the year 1982 the bike name called RD 350(Rx’s daddy)……. Now it is back in action with real beasts called R15,fz and fazer In highway, streets and tour everywhere is Yamaha
YES YAMAHA!
Hey RkO- if it is going to be launched, i would be very glad. But the pic which you posted the link for was the one from auto expo 2006. So im not sure that the one getting launched(as per your information) would be the same. Which showroom did you go to?
Also what happened to the Fazer 250? is it also going to be launched?
I came to know both the head lights do not work at a time and it seems a buzzer have been provided for changing for the desired light to glow.Does the centre beamer spot light will give enough brightness. In the showroom it was told that the battery capacity is not sufficient to make both the head lights to glow.I wanna buy yamaha fazer 153cc and even worried about its head light performance.will there me any change in the battery capacity in the coming days.I expect the conformation of my doubts …
well yea but if u want both lights to be turned on together u have to pay for it the mechanic will inter connect i do have fazer 153cc m aslo going to do the same but he said me to come after 1st service
I have been having fun with my R15 and will continue to have it. And you will also not believe coz you dont have the brain to understand it!!!
I havent seen a fake person like you.. who first was a full bajaj supporter and then later on said that he is a big fan of Yamaha!!!Well i wont be surprised if in a few days you will say that Yamaha is far better than bajaj.. hahahaha …

Is there really any change in seating position? Because I couldn’t spot any and it looked similar to the one on FZ16, not that it is any bad.
Hi Yogesh,
The seating postion is changed because of the fact that there is a slight change in the handlebar of Fazer 150. Fazer has a slightly raised handlebar which makes the seating position a bit more upright than before and thus adds to the comfort level.
which bike best in all 150cc segment with performance, services, millage and feature.honda,herohonda,yamaha,bajaj,suzuki.
well for ur kind information bike lover yahama r15 and fz awarded bikes of the year 2 times lolzzzzzz bajaj ko kuch mila??? nahi bas chote log use kerte hain bajaj ki gadi chori kerne ke liyeh yamaha has its own repuatation in the feild of biking and m disagree with ankur i ran fazer wid the top speed of 135km/hr
so in the end i just want to say that yamaha ka koi tod nahi
and yea the second difference between fz and fazer is that fz is having set of 5 clutch plates and fazer is having a set of 6 clutch plates
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvqXMa7aYdE see this video it shows d top speed of fz16
My choice would be Fazer 150 or FZ-S from Yamaha. Considering the realiability of Yamaha, the level of customer satisfaction, the performance of the bikes, thier bold new looks and style and features. Its rocking,Bangalore on road price is 83,450 INR
