Yamaha YBR 110 launched in India

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. today launched the Yamaha YBR 110 in India. Powered by an 110cc air cooled 4-stroke SOHC engine, Yamaha YBR 110 comes with electric starter and is priced at Rs. 41,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Yukimine Tsuji, CEO and managing director, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “After successfully launching our bikes in the 150cc segment, we have now launched a commuter motorcycle YBR 110 which is stylish and has good ergonomics for comfortable day to day commuting. We have been studying the entry level market and wanted to launch a new bike at an affordable price and that would give satisfactory mileage. Like other Yamaha bikes, YBR 110 carries Yamaha DNA of Performance, Innovation & Design. We are confident that we will replicate the success of our premium segment bikes with the launch of all new YBR 110 in entry level space.”

The move comes on the back of Yamaha’s plan to capture market share in Indian Two Wheeler Market and strengthen its hold in the entry level segment, which has thus far seen poor sales figures from its current crop of 110cc motorcycles like Alba and G5.

Yamaha YBR One Ten will be available in three colors; Black, Red and a combination of Black and Red colors.
