Bajaj Auto to launch 2 new Pulsars soon

Bajaj Auto is all set to launch 2 new Pulsars this year. While one of them will be based on the upcoming KTM Duke 390, with a 375cc engine, second will be a lower capacity model.

While Indian Motorcycling Enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for KTM Duke 390, which is expected to be priced at a mouthwatering price and at the same time provide performance which is unheard of in sub 3lakh motorcycles in India, it would be Pulsar 375, which will likely provide best bang for the buck for the price conscious Indian Consumer.

Of course as is visible from the current differences between the KTM Duke 200 and Pulsar 200NS, KTM will be the better handler and will have more power on tap, but the Pulsar will be cheaper to buy and maintain and will likely have a much wider service network.

Of course we feel that is it high time Indian Motorcycle Manufacturers (in particular Indian companies like Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors) leave the single cylinder motorcycles behind and start working and developing multi cylinder motorcycles, which can hope to rival their Japanese counterparts and truly usher in the age of performance motorcycles in India.
